What the HECK!?!

Ever figure out once it's too late that somedays you just should have stayed in bed?

Yep, TODAY!

So it started out wonderfully with John getting up with the boys and getting them all ready and taking them to school :-) Yay!! Mommy got a few extra winks.....

Then John snuggled on me a bit and I felt all warm inside and started to fall back asleep and.....

BANG! KAAAAAABAMMM! POW!

"Honey, my car is stuck, can you help me get it out?"

WHAT!?! But I was all warm and sleepy and it's FREEZING outside and I'm not DRESSED! Oh yeah, but you did get up and totally do the mom job this morning..... Of course I can.....

"And I have a flat tire too"

OK...... so we venture outside and my ice pond of a driveway has definintly trapped his car in, ice melt not working either.... so he pushes (keep in mind he's in his suit for work) and we go no where.... so we try cardboard under the tires..... no luck..... So we march into the back yard thinking I will grab sand from the boys sandbox cause it's covered and good sand right? Nope, frozen...... So we try MORE ice melt...... and he pushes again.... and WE GET IT! (45 minutes later and laughing hysterically of course)

And there's more..... while we are working on the unstuck thing.... he reminds me that his alignment is off because of the pot holes.... and we discover, it's not ONE flat tire but TWO flat tires.... and his bumber is almost ripped off from the cardboard..... yep, from the cardboard!!! And when we finally got it unstuck, we realize one tire is so flat it's actually caved in.... so we now get to change the tire in the ice pond, in the cold, me barely functioning, and him dressed in the suit still..... and his car jack? Piece of SH**! So we tear MY car apart to get my good jack and proceed to change the tire with the frozen lug nuts and all......

And about 2 hours later I figure screw my diet, I'm cold, tired, and my back is now out of place.... I'm eating some fried pickles!

Shoulda stayed in bed, ya think?
