Kitchen.... day one (and almost two)

Well, I promised A Twinkling in Time (who is awesome by the way and you should check out her blog to the right!) I would post about my kitchen so all could get to know me more on a daily basis but I'm gonna start with one pic.....

This is the hole. The hole that told me story..... that my bathroom above was going to fall through the ceiling over time.... that I had to brace a house that had been around since 1901.... that I had three babes plus me who stood in that bathroom everyday and night.... the hole that inspired one of my biggest remodels in my house yet.... the hole that my husband left for me to fix (and mentioned right before he left :-).... the hole that made me remember that I loved him but he was human, we all are human and we make a few mistakes :-).... a hole that made me feel competent that I could address and fix as a woman on my own (with John's opinion as well)....

So..... it may just be a picture of hole in my kitchen but it means and says a lot :-)
