Making progress and now I'm stuck.....

I was really happy to put my HUGE to do list up on the right of my blog today. It really helps me to focus on what needs to be done. I check my blog daily and this way.... BAM!.... the list is right there!! I'm kind of one of "those people" who make lists and then later I make a new list, never really accomplishing the first one. I usually can tackle my daily lists but the bigger ones I tend to forget... or ignore....

BUT I posted the list today and was happy to cross off a few things!!! I most definintly was able to tackle the laundry area and I have to give a BIG thanks to Grandma Donna for her wonderful help!!! I was SOOOOO behind on laundry it was actually pathetic. However, she came over and made me pack it all into her car and off she went to the laundromat (sp?) and tackled more loads of laundry then I care to mention!! With it all out of the way though, I was able to go to battle with the dark, damp, basement corner I call my laundry room. After sucking up all the spiders in my shop vac and some minor organization I feel it looks wonderful!!!

Well then I decided to tackle my closet tonight and now I am stuck as all can be!!! I have weeded out 2 33-gallon forceflex bags of clothes and shoes and I still can't reduce this mess.... I just sat down for the last 30 minutes and just LOOKED at my closet. (sometimes if I do this an idea will just come to me) However, nothing did. I can identify a few problems though.... 1. All my clothes for EVERY season are in one place. I don't pack the seasonal stuff away. 2. I clearly have a problem buying shoes, but I love them all. 3. I really only have one dresser and the closet, which given all clothes I own (and I AM a girl) this is NOT that much space....

So if anyone would love to give me a few ideas that would be GREAT! Or just straight up encouragement is good as well :-) For now I'm gonna sit back and look at it some more.... maybe something will come to me.....

Good luck hun, it looks completely overwhelming! I have figured out that if I go through with 2 different color hangers, one color for the stuff I know I wear and one for the stuff I like, don't wear and don't want to get rid of and sort out the stuff I can let go of, if the hangers haven't switched colors in 6 months, it has to go. Maybe it will help? otherwise I miss you tons and hope to see you soon! Lisa

You need to include Exercise in your Diet plan. Just walking 30 minutes a day is good. It will help take/keep off the weight.

Hi Dana- For the wiring section of your to-do list- my husband Duffy is an electrician. I am sure we could plan a time for him to come over and look at what you have going on- maybe estimate how much it would cost and see if he could do it for ya... I am not sure if you know someone else that could help you out, but let me know! I'll be thinking of you and cheering you on:)! - Val Schneider
